The problem is not so much whether a word can be found but how it is applied. Elder is a description of a leader, presumably with some life experience. Not an ass kisser company man. Same for deacon ( ministerial servant ) or older women.
There may well have been a group that took the lead but they earned the position, not self appointed .
i`m just curious as to whether the corona beer sales have plummeted since this coronavirus has spread in different parts of the world .. it wouldn`t surprise me if sales had a nose dive since this outbreak and just wondered if anybody has any information concerning this ?.

Better. My retirement fund is making back half of the withdrawal amount. By the time I am 105 it will be gone though. The corona thing will hurt short term investments.
